Why?

I think we are in a remarkable time for networking. I see it changing, evolving and flourishing in all directions. Live networking groups have new online presences, online networking groups have meetups. Niche networking is happening everywhere. Folks who can’t get into a “leads” networking group like their local BNI are starting their own homegrown networking group. Online assets like Flickr and Twitter, which had no intended “networking” component are creating incredible networking opportunities.

The word networking itself is really no longer adequate to cover what is happening. I am interested in all of it and finding within it, great opportunities for business people to profitably create raving fans.  In order for it work for you – you need to show up.

Get out there and meet someone. Create a relationship.  Have a bonding experience.  You will meet your next client, your next referral source, your next strategic partner or maybe the vendor that has exactly what you need to grow your business or your career.

If it hasn’t happened yet, look in the mirror. Ask yourself, “will the people I want to meet want to meet me?”  As Jim Rohn said, “it’s more important to work on yourself than on your business.”

Go to these great networking opportunities and report back so others can learn from you too.

My email address is my first name, then my last name at actioncoach.com.  I write it this way to keep the spambots from finding it.

I’m waiting to hear from you!

Your Business Coach,

Dennis
